If you’re planning a visit in July, don’t miss the Madison County Fair at the local fair grounds – it’s one of the best County Fairs around! The town also boasts the Carnegie Family Learning Center, the Archive Center for the Nebraska Orphan Train Riders, nearly 100 camp sites, a community swimming pool/tennis courts and DeGroot Orchards, a quaint yet impressive apple orchard open in the fall.
